Okay... Well, I've never seen an episode of Scandal, but doesn't mean it's bad. No one knows I don't watch it, so you could probably convince people I do. If I were to include a scandal character, it would be Olivia, so you have that going for you. Might be a good one to use.
You didn't say if you plan this claim to be town of neutral, so I can't say if it fits with what you are thinking there.
You also didn't list a power you would give her, so it's hard for me to judge if claiming that power would be good or most likely get you lynched.
Remember, the more you put into this fake claim, the more feedback I can give you to make sure it is a solid one.
